» POETRY Fate :: Kasey -VERSE 1 Charlie was in the plane A lady came down the lane She asked if he's ok He said just go away Shaking uncontrolably He got out of his seat Running towards the back And there he just passed Jack The stewardess went after him Charlie pulled open the door He was in the bathroom now In his shoes, his drug astore He stares at the mirror Not knowing he's in danger He is an addicted dump But then there came a big bump -CHORUS The have crashed to the ground No one made a sound Then they all screamed Some injured Most are dead and all are hurt They are stuck on an island With wilderness n snow white sand Fate is all they from now have Written on Charlie's hands -VERSE 2 Used to be in a band He played bass guitar Singing "you all everybody!" Then he lost the guitar He rocked out in Drive Shaft Miss his band that he left Then he got a hand From Locke, the mysterious man And there's his guitar up above him He promised to give Locke his drug and now can play it But he saw Clare, needed help He gave her water for her to gulp down CHORUS -BRIDGE He smiles at Clare because She says there's no one like him n she spreads her love And Charlie changed "fate" n wrote "late" Since her baby was Wish he'd go back home, home! And wished they'd never...
