» ENCOUNTERS Primetime Preview Weekend     |     12 September 2004     |     saranet I arrived at California Adventure with my dad and a friend at around 11:00am. By the time I went over to the photo oppurtunity session for Lost, the line was full, so I couldn't be able to take a picture with the cast. ;( BUT....my luck didn't stop there. I stood at the line near the stage where the cast was going to take the pictures, so I got a good spot to be able to take pictures of the cast, well, supposely. It was so hot outside that I was sweating like a pig! When Dom and the others came out, everyone was screaming and all the fangirls were ready to get an autograph from Dom. I tried to take pictures of Dom, but I was so star-struck that I couldn't take a picture! So that's why I didn't take a lot. LOL! But I did get good shots of him though. He was kind enough to sign autographs for the fans where I was at. He was saying stuff like "Oh, I look handsome today, huh?" and all the girls were laughing. There was this cute boy who got Dom's autograph and talk to him about video games which Dom played. The little boy said, "I heard about it from Frodo" and Dom gave him a sweet smile. :) I wish I could of took a picture of him with the smile, but my stupid camera was acting up. >:( It only got worse. Then Dom came to me and I gave him prayer beads to wear, one's brown and the other is green, and Dom said, "Oh thank you!" and he wore it on his left hand. Then he gave me a hug and I ask him if I could take a picture of him, and he said, "Sure!" I tried to take a picture, but the lady in front of me who saw the LCD screen(I had a digital camera) of my camera told me that I was only getting my head. I was like "Oh crap! I forgot I had the zoom on!!!" X0 Then Dom said, "Here, let me try." and he grabbed my camera and took a shot of us which came out good. I told him thank you and he said, Your welcome." and went to sign other people's autographs. I didn't ask him for a autograph 'cause I already got an autograph from him already, so there's no need for another. I only wanted to take pictures, 'cause I need to practice taking pictures for photography class. I didn't stay to watch Dom take pictures with the fans 'cause it was really hot and people were crowding in making it more hot, so I left and look around the park with my dad and friend. I didn't go to the Cast Q&A thing for numerous reasons and 'cause I had a friend with me and didn't want to keep dragging him along just to meet the celebrities and stuff.
